There are so many stories still to tell about Tessa's and my trip, but as an intermezzo I shot this panorama at the Rotterdam Summer Carnival:

Today's Rotterdam Summer Carnival attracted just under a million spectators. This makes the Rotterdam carnival one of the largest in Europe.

The view above was shot amidst the 'Aruba Uni' group, the final party of the parade. It's quite amazing how much weight many of the participants carry around on their heads and shoulders, dancing the whole 5 kilometers of the parade route.

The panorama was shot handheld, and 'in flight' (the parade didn't stop for me). It's not my best stitch, but it made for nice target practice for Sziget, the festival I will be attending for the third time, this august.
